In this topic i plan to post logic puzzles and set a prize for them ill set a time limit of a week and if no one gets the answer it will add to next weeks prize pool

Ill start with one of my favorites
A poor Farmer has a beautiful daughter and a greedy landlord. One day when the Farmer can't pay the landlord he is given a choice leave the farm or let me marry your daughter. The daughter agrees on one condition that it will be decided by luck, so she say's we will put one white and one black rock from this driveway into a bag and if i pull the black one ill marry you and you can keep the farm, but if i pull a white one you will leave me and my family alone and give the deed to the farm to my father. The landlord agrees but decides he doesn't want to lose so he cheats by putting 2 black rocks in the bag. The daughter notices but can't insult the honor of the landlord. she manages to get the deed to the farm how?

Be warned though that if i suspect that the answer given is found from the net i will not pay the prize and ill stop the comp

My guess: she pulls one stone out of the bag and asks the landlord what's left in the bag.

yes i guess that is close enough it is technically she drops it then states i did not see what i drew but it must be the opposite to the one in the bag
